Well, sort of. Your computer can tell a web site you’re visiting more information about you than you think. There’s a web site that will test your vulnerability — of course, they sell software to protect you — and it told me my IP address, what city and state I live in, my browser information (duh), how many sites I visited, and what page I came from (another "duh").
Allegedly, I could be vulnerable to other, more serious issues. I’m not because of my "system configuration or measures you have already taken to protect your privacy." I’m safe from giving out my computer name and having the information in my clipboard viewed. The clipboard vulnerability could be pretty dangerous. It’s worth checking out Anonymizer.
